Hello,  my Blogger Dreamers! It's your girl aka the queen of blogging herself, it's Brandee here and welcome to an all new blog episode the week! Happy Friday or in other countries, Happy Saturday! I am so happy to have y'all on a new blog episode! How's my fandom doing today? I hope everyone is doing well and amazing! If not, that's okay! Everything will be okay! Take a deep breath and breathe!! Before I talk about today's blog episode and Wednesday's blog episode, I just want to say thank you to my fans around the world like Singapore, Ireland, the places in the United States like Louisiana, Mississippi, or anywhere else in the United States, thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me on my blogging journey! Without y'all, I don't know where I would be without y'all! I love y'all! On Wednesday, I talked about where did I get my whole name from? Before I was born, everyone in my family thought I was a boy but my big sister, Brandy wasn't on board about me being a boy! Instead, she thought I was a girl the whole time! She made a bet with my mom and she said "It's not a boy and you are naming her after me". Well, here I am 24 years later and I am the second Brandee in my family! Now, my middle name came from my sister, Tyna because her middle name is "Marie" and I think Brandee Marie fits perfect and I love it! I ended up getting my dad's last name and I love my last name a lot!! Now, for today's blog episode, I will be talking about what was I like when I was a teenager? In this blog episode, I will be talking about when I was a teenager, what was I like? Why was I like that when I was a teenager? If I could describe my attitude when I was a teenager, how would I describe my attitude? Why would I describe my attitude like that? If I could go back in time and talk to my teenage self, what would I say? Why would I say those things to my teenage self? If I have any advice to teenagers about anything, what would my advice be? Why would I give out that type of advice? Now, without further ado, let's get started! Shall we? We shall!! 

The word "teenager". What does the word "teenager" mean to me? Why does the word "teenager" mean to me like that? 

When I think about the word "teenager", I think of hormones are everywhere and teenage girls are close to getting their time of the month! Boys are falling in love with girls! Attitudes are everywhere! I remember when my attitude was bad when I was a teenager which I will talk about my attitude later in the blog but I just remember my attitude was bad. Teenage attitudes are bad! Teenagers also wanted to go out with their friends on the weekends and hangout with them! Not me! I wanted to stay home and focus on school! Why does the word "teenager" mean to me like that? The reason why the word "teenager" means to me like that because when you enter into middle school and high school as a teenager, teenage boys and girls hormones are high and girls are getting their time of the month which isn't a bad thing if you are a guy but for a girl, it is bad because you have bad cramps and your mood swings are everywhere and sometimes, you don't want to do anything because you feel like crap! For guys, y'all's voices are dropping and some of y'all are finding a girl that you might have a crush on and stuff like that! Teenagers are crazy at times! I remember my teenage years!!

Me as a teenager! Why was I like that when I was a teenager? 

When I was a teenager, what was I like? When I was a teenager, I was quite but once I got to know you, I didn't shut up! In school, I was nice to my teachers and my friends, but once I got home, if someone got me mad or upset, my attitude is bad and I would say mean things but I would apologize after I would said mean things! With my clothing style, I wore leggings and jeans! I never walked out the house with short shorts on because if I did, my dad would beat my behind and he would make me go back in the house and change!! I was good at times but my attitude would get me in trouble at times, whichever came first! Why was I like that when I was a teenager? The reason why I was like that when I was a teenager is because my attitude would get me in trouble or my mouth would get me in trouble or both would get me in trouble! Most of the time, I would be in my room and minding my own business but when someone starts bugging me, I will go off and my attitude would go off but again, I still have an attitude but I don't think it is bad to this day! I feel my clothing is still the same but I don't wear jeans as much as I used to! I still wear leggings to this day and I don't wear short shorts either!! 

My attitude! Why would I describe my attitude like that? 

If I could describe my attitude when I was a teenager, how would I describe my attitude? If I could describe my attitude when I was a teenager, I would describe my attitude as a light switch! You don't know if you were going to get a nice Brandee or a mean Brandee! My attitude was bad at home but at school, I was so nice to all of my teachers and my friends! I was also quite in school sometimes because if I didn't have any of my friends in class, then I wouldn't talk to anyone but for me, it wouldn't take long to make friends at all! When I was in a bad mood, don't ever mess with me because you never know what would come out of my mouth! My attitude was bad when I was a teenager but I think my attitude has changed since I became an adult! I try not to say mean things to anyone at all! Why would I describe my attitude like that? The reason why I would describe my attitude as a light switch because when I was a teenager, I would either wake up in a good mood or in a bad mood, depending what day it is or if someone said something rude to me, I would stay quite and when I am quite, you know what's up with me and I won't talk to anyone and I am still like that to this day!! 

Talk to my teenage self! Why would I say those things to my teenage self? 

If I could go back in time and talk to my teenage self, what would I say? If I could go back in time and talk to my teenage self, I would say "Go and hangout with friends. Don't be shy! Learn how to stand up for yourself! Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself". The first thing I would say is "Go and hangout with friends". When I was a teenager, I really didn't go and hangout with friends because I would stay home a lot and I am a home body and I was shy at times! The second thing that I would say "Don't be shy"! I was shy when I was teenager and I can still be shy to this day! At first, I am very shy but once I open up to people, I am good and I am not shy anymore!! The third thing I would say to my teenage self is "Learn how to stand up for yourself". When I was in middle and high school, I would get bullied and I wish I would learn how to stand up for myself but now, I know how to stand up for myself and stand my ground! The fourth and final thing that I would tell my teenage self is "Don't be afraid to stand up for my yourself". Sometimes, I would be afraid to stand up for myself and now, I am not afraid to stand my ground and I am not afraid to tell anyone off because I will tell people off now because I am not afraid to anymore! Why would I say those things to my teenage self? The reason why I would say those things to my teenage self is because I wish I could stand up for myself and be afraid but back then, I was afraid but not anymore! I wish I could of hangout with friends back then, but now, I don't think I would be able to hangout with friends because of my anxiety! Always learn how to stand up for yourself, no matter what!!!

My advice! Why would I give out that type of advice?? 

If I have any advice to teenagers about anything, what would my advice be? If have any advice to teenagers about anything, my advice is to enjoy your teenage years because in a blink of an eye, you are an adult and you have a job and a car! You wouldn't be able to hangout with your friends as much but enjoy your teenage years and make plenty of memories! Your teenage years is going to have plenty of ups and downs, but you are going to go through it! Keep chasing your dreams and never give up! You have your whole life in front of you! Don't make the wrong decisions in life! Make the right decisions or suffer the consequences! Don't suffer the consequences! Why would I give out that type of advice? The reason why I would give out that type of advice is because I want all the teenagers to make the right choices in life! Yes, teenagers will be teenagers but in life, you are going to go through things and in your mindset, you want to give up but don't give up because it's not worth it! I wish someone would gave me this type of an advice when I was a teenager but I am happy that I grew up well and I am happy to help any teenager who is willing to listen to my advice! 

In conclusion/ Tip of the day/ Question of the day? 

In conclusion, your teenage years can be a little challenging at times but it doesn't mean you have to give up! You are entering your middle school and high school years! Yes, middle school and high school is great but at the same time, it is going to be challenging! Don't fall behind in school because it will be hard to catch up in school! It's okay to be a teenager, but don't fall behind in school! Yes, you can hangout with your friends but always do your school work! Don't do drugs because drugs are bad for you! Peer pressure is big in teenage years but don't let anyone including your friends to peer pressure you because if you do, you are following them into what they are doing and you don't do that! Enjoy your teenage years! Did I enjoy my teenage years? Yeah, I did but I wish I could of did something different and learned how to stand up for myself when I was getting bullied in my middle school and high school years! Here is my tip and question of the day?! My tip of the day is enjoy your teen years! Please, don't make the wrong mistakes in life but if you do, you are going to have to suffer the consequences and you are going to have to live with those mistakes but at the end of the day, you are a human being and that's fine!  Adults ad teenagers make mistakes! We aren't perfect! Don't be perfect because we aren't prefect!! My question of the day is what were you like when you were a teenager? Why were you like that as a teenager? Talking about my teenage years reminded the times where I would get up early for school and go about my day and come home, tired and telling my dad "I'm hungry! Can you make me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? Please". Ah! Good times! I wish I could of stand up to my bullies but now as an adult, I can stand up for myself and I am very proud of myself for that! Don't let anyone control your life! You are the only one who can control your life! Don't make the wrong decisions in your life! When I see someone hurting, I automatically have this instinct where I want to go to someone and tell them that "everything will be okay. You're strong! You got this". I hate when I see someone who I love hurting emotionally, mentally, or physically. It breaks my heart! If you see someone who is hurting, please go comfort them and tell them "everything will be okay". For today's blog episode, I will be talking about where did I get my whole name from? On today's blog episode, I will be talking about when I was born, everyone thought I was a boy except my older sister, Brandy! If I was a boy, what was my name going to be? In my opinion, why did my family pick that name? Where does Brandee Marie Darden come from? Why did my name come from there? What is the significance behind my name? Why is there significance behind my name? Now, without any further ado, let's get started! Shall we? We shall! 

When I think about a name, what does it symbolizes? Why does a name symbolize? 

When I think about a name; to me, a name can symbolize anything! A name can symbolize a family member or a sibling or siblings or a name can represent who you are as a person and who you are going to be in the future! To me, my two sisters, Brandy and Tyna are fighters and a couple of people who I know! I love my name because it symbolizes my older sisters which I would talk about more later in the blog! Your name should symbolize who you are as a person and your attitude as well! You can be named someone from your family like your dad, mom, sisters, brothers, or even your uncles or your aunts! A name should be valuable to you and should mean a lot to you! Why does a name symbolize? I think a name should symbolize something like either a family member or someone who is close to you is because when you love someone who you care about so much, you want to hold that person or people close to you so much and I love my name so much! I think it is a great name and I think it is so pretty! 

My name as a boy! In my own opinion, why did my family pick that name? 

When I was born, everyone thought I was a born except my older sister, Brandy! If I was a boy, what was my name going to be? Throughout my mom's pregnancy, everyone was really adamant about me being a boy! The only person who thought I wasn't a boy was older sister, Brandy! She made a bet with my mom and she said along the lines "It's girl and you are naming her after me". Sure enough, I am named after my sister but if I was a boy, my named would have been Gary Dean Darden JR which I would of been named of my dad! I would of been little Gary but here I am and I am little Brandy after my older sister! In my own opinion, why did my family pick that name? In my opinion, I think the reason why my family picked that name is because I would of been named after my dad and I think that name is great because it is my dad's name! I think my dad has a great name! It is nice! 

Where does Brandee Marie Darden come from? Why did my name come from there?

Where does Brandee Marie Darden come from? Well, my first name comes from my older sister, Brandy except, she spells it with an Y. She made a bet with my mom and I ended up being named after my sister but I actually love my name! Marie came from my older sister, Tyna! When I was born, she guessed how much I way which is 6 pounds and 9 ounces! My sister, Tyna helped me through school and I don't know what I would do without her if I couldn't pass school. My last name came from my dad! I have the Darden attitude in me because I can be stubborn and hardheaded but that doesn't mean I give up easily on life and what I want to do in the future!! I work hard towards my dreams and I don't give up until I achieve my dreams! With me and my dad, we both have heart of golds and we are so nice to the point where when you hurt us, we can trust you anymore and I believe that me and dad can be a lot of alike sometimes but I love my dad and I care about my dad and my two sisters! Why did my name come from there? The reason why my name came from my sister, Brandy, my sister, Tyna, and I got my dad's last name is because I think Brandee Marie fits really well and I love the middle name so much! Marie is such a beautiful name and I love how it fits with my name! I also have nieces who have the same middle name as me which I think it is nice! I think "Brandee Marie" fits and I think it has a nice ring to it which I love!!

The significance behind my name!! Why is there significance behind my name? 

What is the significance behind my name? The significance behind my name is I love my name a lot! My name is what makes me the person that I am today! I am person because I have my dad's attitude and my sisters are strong people and I love them dearly! All of my sisters are strong in there own way and I love how I got my name from older, Brandy who I wouldn't mind being named after and Tyna who I wouldn't mind having the same middle name as! I have that Darden attitude and I am so proud to be a Darden! A name can symbolize anything and my name symbolize my two sisters and my dad! My name is significant and the significance behind it is because everyone thought I was going to be a boy and they even decorated my nursery as baseball themed which I think it is cute because once I got old enough to play, I played baseball and then, I played softball!! I find it ironic that my older sister, Brandy was like "it's a girl and you are naming her after me" but I wouldn't have that name any other way! The significance behind my middle name "Marie" is I honestly love that name!! I love how well it fits with Brandee and it fits very well! I love it! The significance behind "Darden" is it is my dad's last name and I felt like I knew that I was going to be stubborn and hardheaded because I am just like my dad because we are too nice and sometimes, people take advantage of us which is not cool at all but I love my name and I am proud of my name! Why is there significance behind my name? The reason why there is significance behind my name is because my name means a lot to me! I don't care who misspells my name wrong but to me, my name is very special and I love it so much! I am proud to own that name!

In conclusion/ Question of the day?

In conclusion, I love my name a lot! I think Gary is a nice name for a guy but I don't think it would fit for a little girl! When I was a little baby, they put me in boy's clothing because at the time, my parents didn't have little girl clothing for me and when I was born, everyone thought I was a baby doll because I was so tiny! My name symbolizes my two sisters and my dad! I love my name more than anything in this world! Would I ever change it in the future? No, I would never change my name because I love my name a lot! I am so glad that I got my sister, Brandy's first name except spelled a little differently, my sister, Tyna's middle name, and my dad's last name! I am proud to have that name and I wouldn't trade it for the world! Here is my question of the day is Were any of my Blogger Dreamers name after anyone in their family? I hope everyone had an amazing and safe weekend! If not, that's okay because it is a brand new week which means new blog episodes! Before I talk about this week's blog episodes and last week's blog episodes, I just wanted to say thank you for all the love and support that everyone gave on my blogs! From the United States to Singapore to the Netherlands, I love each and one of my fans from the bottom of my heart! Thank you! Let's do a recap on last week's blogs! Last week, I did an Happy Halloween blog episode special, then on Wednesday, I talked about What am I thankful for this year and on top of that, I also announced that I have a boyfriend as well, and then, on Friday, I talked about my poem "Heartbreaks". On Monday, I did a Happy Halloween blog episode where I talked my favorite scary and non scary movies and what I love to do on Halloween which is watch movies! Watching movies is fun! On Wednesday, I talked about what am I thankful for this year and what am I thankful is my friends, family, and life! I love my life, my friends, and my family! On Friday, I talked about my poem "Heartbreaks"! Having a heartbreak is the worse feeling in the world! I don't like when any of my friends or family are suffering from a heartbreak because it hurts me! On this week's blogs, I will be talking about my poem "Hurting", Where did I get my name from, and what was I like as a teenager? Now, without any further ado, let's get started! Shall we? For today's blog episode, I will be analyzing my poem "Hurting" by Brandee Darden! Today's blog is all about when you or someone you know is hurting, how does it make you feel or in my case, make me feel? Why does it make me feel this way? Does it bother me when I see someone hurting? Yes or no? Why or why not does or doesn't bother me when someone is hurting? If I have any advice about seeing someone hurting or yourself hurting, what would my advice be? Why would I give that out that advice? Why did I chose to talk about this blog topic? The reason why I chose to talk about this blog topic is because when I see someone hurting, all I want to do is comfort them and make sure that they are okay! When a person is hurting, it breaks my heart and I want to comfort them the best way that I can! What is this week's song of the week? For this week's song of the week, I chose "Too Good At Goodbyes" by Sam Smith! I love this song so much! This song reminds that no matter how much you hurt me, you can't hurt me anymore and I am good at goodbye! Why did I chose this song of the week? The reason why I chose this song for the week is because when I had people come and go out of my life, I was just used to saying "goodbye" because I never know if someone is going to stay in my life or just automatically hurt me again because that's what I am used to! 

Talking about my poem! What is the meaning of my poem? Why does the poem have meaning? 

On Tuesday, May 10th of this year, I wrote a poem called "Hurting" and it goes like this: "Hurting" by Brandee Darden! 

"When you are 

Hurting, it hurts not only 

you, but the people around 

you! When you are hurting, your 

friends, family, and so many people

are hurting as well because you are 

hurting! If you are struggling, tell 

someone! Don't keep it in! 

If you are hurting, tell people that 

you are hurting!!! Don't hide it! 

Tell people because if you tell someone, 

they will listen to you!! Don't hide 

anything"!!

Date of poem: Tuesday, May 10th, 2022!! This poem means a lot to me and it holds a lot of meaningful things behind it! When you see a family member or a friend struggling and they tell you they are quote on quote "fine", there is a probability that they are not fine! They might be struggling but they don't want you or anyone close to them know either which is so sad! What is the meaning behind this poem? The meaning behind this poem is tell people that you or someone is hurting because if you tell someone that you are hurting, chances are that someone is going to listen to you no matter what! Don't struggle because it is not good for you! Why does the poem have meaning? The reason why there is meaning behind this poem is because when you or someone you know that is hurting, it hurts the other person and it hurts to see someone that you love hurting because if you love that person and you care about them, you would truly be there for them and don't listen to them! Just saying!

How does it make you feel or in my case, make me feel? Why does it make me feel this way? 

When you or someone you know is hurting, how does it make you feel or in my case, make me feel? Everyone reacts differently in a situation when they see someone hurting! With me, I want to comfort them with some comforting words and tell them "everything will be okay! You can tell me something. I'm here to listen to you, not to judge you", stuff like that! I am that type of a person who wants to help someone because I care about how the person is feeling! I am very non judgmental person and I don't judge because I think judging is very wrong! When I see someone hurting emotionally or mentally, it pulls at my heart strings because I care about someone with my whole heart and I am that type of person who wants to go up to a person and ask them "are you alright" and if they shake their head no, I will give them hug and tell them "everything will be okay". Why does it make me feel this way? The reason why it makes feel this way is because if I see someone crying, chances are that I am going to go up and comfort them because they might need comfort and I am going to comfort them the best way that I can! Point blank and no questions asked!! 

Does it bother me when I see someone hurting? Yes or no? Why or why not does or doesn't bother me when someone is hurting?

To answer that question, yes! It does bother me when I see someone hurting! When a friend or a family member tells me "hey! I'm not okay", I am going to listen to my friend or my family and tell them "I am so sorry that you are hurting and I am here for you no matter what. Everything will be okay"! So, yes it does bother me when someone that I love is hurting! Why or why not does or doesn't bother me when someone is hurting? The reason why it bothers me when someone is hurting is because if someone said awful things about you, I am going to stand up for you and tell you the total opposite because I care about other people! I will put my feelings aside and be there for that a person who I love and care about because their feelings mean more to me than my own! I am here for anyone who needs support and I will stand up for you no matter what! 

My advice! Why would I give that advice? 

If I have any advice about seeing someone hurting or yourself, what would my advice be?  If see someone hurting or yourself, my only advice is if you see someone hurting, go ask them "are you okay" and if they shake their head "no", go hug them and tell them that everything will be fine! If you are hurting, open up to someone who you can  trust or write down how you are feeling in a journal! When you are journaling, it will help get all of those nasty thoughts out of your head and you will feel much better! If any of my Blogger Dreamers is hurting, just know that you are not alone in this fight and you will never be alone! Y'all got this! I believe in y'all! Why would I give that advice? The reason why I would give out that advice is because I feel like if someone is hurting or even you are hurting, just know that you are not alone in this fight and you should never give up! You are loved by so many people including me and I am here for anyone who needs someone to talk to because I care! I am here and don't be afraid to say "I need someone who will listen to me" because I will gladly listen to everyone!!

In conclusion, when you are hurting or you see someone else who is hurting, for yourself, ask yourself "Are you okay"? If you are not okay, write down things that is hurting you on a piece of paper and throw them away! If you see someone who you love and care about that is hurting, tell them everything will be okay!! Life might be hard at times, but it doesn't take over night to complete your goals! You completing your goals can take years or even months to complete but that doesn't mean that you have to hurt yourself while completing your goals! Here is my tip and challenge of the day!! My tip of the day is everything will be okay! Life is all about ups and downs, but don't hurt yourself because hurting yourself means hurting the people around you and they don't want to see you hurt either! My challenge of the day is go up to a stranger or even ask a friend or a family member if they are doing okay and if they say "no, I am not doing okay", ask them what's wrong and comfort them the best way that y'all can! I love y'all and please, if you are hurting, everything will be okay!
