Talking about mental health and how it can take a toll on a person? By: Brandee Darden. Monday, March 21st, 2022!
Intro to my blog!!
Hello, my Shinning Star Butterflies! It's your girl aka the blogger queen herself, Ms. Brandee Darden. Welcome back to another blog week! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend and I hope everyone has an amazing week ahead of them! Happy Monday or in other countries, Happy Tuesday! For the students who are in high school or the students who are preparing for exams, my best advice for y'all is to study and always try your best! Y'all got this and I believe in y'all 210%. For the people who are having a hard time right now, the advice that I can give y'all right now is please, don't give up! Yes, I know life is so hard right now, but just know that you are much stronger what you are going through right now! Y'all got this and never ever give up! On last week's blogs, I talked about what would I wear for spring outfits, makeup looks for spring, and self image issues! Dealing with self image issues is very hard to deal with especially if you are a model or even a movie star. Some actors and actresses are recommended to be on a strict diet and that must be hard. On this week's blog episodes, I will be talking about mental health and how it can take a toll on a person, my future book, and my workout routine and why did I started working out? Let's get started with a new blog episode! Shall we! We shall!
Talking about this week's blog episode and what is this week's song of the week? Why did I pick that song for the week?
On this week's blog episode, I will be talking about mental health and how it can take a toll on a person? I will be talking about when I think about mental health, what comes to my mind? Why does that thing come to my mind? How can mental health take a toll on a person? Why does mental health can take a toll on a person? If I have any advice about mental health or people telling you to "get over it", what is my advice to those people? Why would I give that advice to those people? The song of the week is called "Stay Alive" by Jeon Jungkook produced by Min Yoongi. They are both from BTS! This song to me means a lot to me. It reminds me that I need to stay alive no matter what. Why did I pick that song for the week? The reason why I picked that song for the week is because it holds a special place in my heart and it just reminds that it doesn't matter how hard life can get sometimes, I can't throw in the towel and give up! I have to stay alive and hold on until I can't hold on anymore.
Talking about mental health and why everyone should take it very serious?
Mental health is something that everyone should take serious! It shouldn't be something that you shouldn't joke about. People go through mental health problems everyday whether it is anxiety or depression or even bipolar. You could be talking to someone right now and they can say "I'm okay" but deep down inside, they are really not okay. They could be really depressed but you won't even know it. With me, I am not diagnosed yet but when I get put into a group chat with four or more people or their is a lot of people in the store, I feel anxious and I just wanted to get out of that store or that group chat because I feel stressed when people send me a lot of texts. It doesn't have to be in a group chat. It can be from a single person and I still feel anxious. I don't like when people send me a lot of text. I feel anxious and I tend to want to freak out at times! Why everyone should take it very serious? The reason why you should take mental health very serious is because it can take a toll on a person. Sometimes, that person can wake up really happy but deep down inside, they are very depressed because something happened in their life that might caused them to be depressed or they are sad for no reason at all. Mental health is a very serious matter and if you don't take it serious, shame on you! It is not a joke! Don't joke around!
When I think about mental health, what comes to my mind? Why does that thing come to my mind?
When I think about mental health, what comes to my mind? When I think of mental health, I think of depression, anxiety, and so many other mental health illnesses. Mental health is so hard for a person to handle. Some people have their good days, but they also have their bad days as well. A depressed person can be like "I'm okay" but really, they are hurting inside and they don't want to talk to anyone because they won't to be left alone and that stinks. Someone with anxiety can have a good day but all of sudden, they can get stressed out and panic because of something or someone is doing something. For me, I get stressed out when someone sends me so many texts at one time. When someone sends me more than one text message, I tend to want to throw my phone or freak out because I want to answer it but that person is still typing and it drives me crazy! If someone talks to me, please send me one text at a time! Please. Why does that thing come to my mind? The reason why depression, anxiety, and so many other mental health illnesses come to my mind is because I know some people who have depression and anxiety and it hard for me to see someone who I love and care about so much who have mental health issues because you want the best for them and you want to make sure they are okay!
How can mental health take a toll on a person? Why does mental health can take a toll on a person?
Mental health can take a toll on person very hard at times! Sometimes with someone with depression and anxiety can be having a good day, but all of the sudden, something or someone can say something that can trigger their anxiety and depression. Someone who has PTSD can also have a good day and all of the sudden, they could have a flashback of what happened to them and then, they don't want to do anything for rest of the day because they are afraid of what is going to happened to them. Mental health is very bad but it can also shape people for what they are! Your mental health illness makes you who you are! Yes, you are going to have a bad day and that's okay! Everyone has a good day and a bad day! It is okay! Why does mental health can take a toll on a person? The reason why mental health can take a toll on a person is because with a depressed person, they can wake up all happy with a smile on their face but the next day, they don't want to get up because of how they are feeling or some depressed people don't want to talk to many people except when they want to talk to a few people or no people at all. Mental health is hard on a person and you don't know how that person is going to feel until you talk to that person!
If I have any advice about mental health or people telling you to "get over it", what is my advice to those people?
If I have any advice about mental health or people telling you to "get over it", what is my advice to those people? I had someone who told me to "get over it" talking about my mental health issues and honestly, hearing that from someone who you love and someone that you care about is hard but my advice about mental health or people telling you to "get over it" is keep pushing through life. I know having mental health is hard, but you have push through it and keep fight through it. Never give up. You have people who love you so much and I am one of those people. If someone tells you to "get over it", my advice for y'all is just walk away and remind yourself to keep on going. Remind yourself that you're strong and you got this. Remind yourself that you have people who love you for who you are. Remind yourself that it is okay to cry! Remind yourself that whatever you are going through, you got this! Everyone is strong and everyone has people in their life who loves them no matter what! I know I know that I have a lot of people who love me and that they care about me so much! I am lucky and very blessed!
Why would I give that advice to those people aka my Shinning Star Butterflies?
The reason why I would give that advice to those people aka my Shinning Star Butterflies is because it is good to remind everyone that there is people in your life who love you and will support you no matter what. There is people who cares about you and your mental health more than anything in this world. I am blessed to have friends and family who love me for who I am as a person and for what I love. I have some friends and family who can read me like a book and one of my friends will be like "you're not fine" and I will tell them "I know". It is really good to have those friends and family who can read you like a book and who can help you through your hard times! I am lucky enough to have so many people around the world who is supporting me through my blogging journey! I am very blessed and I love what I do!!
In conclusion/ Tip of the day!
In conclusion, having any type of mental health illness is really hard for a person! It hard to act like everything is okay but in reality, nothing is okay and some of us is struggling mentally to get through it. The people who have mental health just know that you are strong and you got this! I believe in y'all no matter what! Y'all can get through it and I will always support y'all no matter what. Just know that y'all have people who love y'all so much and I know that any type of mental health illness isn't easy to live with but I know that y'all can get through it and y'all are strong! Y'all got this! My tip of the day is don't give up! Please! You are loved by your friends and your family! You have family and friends who cares about you so much and they want you to keep fighting!
